With strategically located bases in the UK and Netherlands and operations extending into regions including the Middle East, Peterson Energies provides integrated logistics, technology, consultancy and supply chain solutions. By connecting land and sea operations, the company helps customers use logistics as a strategic tool to unlock efficiencies, optimise operations and make better informed decisions.
A key challenge across the energy supply chain is managing complex logistics while maintaining visibility, efficiency and control across every stage of an operation. Peterson Energies works closely with customers to simplify this process, combining operational expertise with technology and data to improve planning and support more efficient project delivery.
Technology plays an important role in this approach. Lighthouse, Peterson Energies’ in-house developed software suite, connects applications across the end-to-end logistics supply chain, supporting operational and administration teams while providing decision makers with data-led analysis and greater oversight. Its AI agent capabilities draw on 13 years of operational data covering 10 million tonnes of cargo, providing scenario modelling, analysis and insight to support better planning and decision making. Lighthouse is available to Peterson’s logistics customers as well as through a Software as a Service model.
Safety and sustainability also remain central to the company’s operations. Earlier this year Peterson Energies achieved one year LTI and TRCF free across its global operations, reflecting its focus on safety leadership and culture. The company was also one of the first to achieve PAS 2060 carbon neutral accreditation in 2022 and became the first company to achieve the ISO 14068 standard from NQA in 2025. Alongside its own decarbonisation efforts, Peterson uses data-led insights, improved planning and greater visibility to help customers streamline logistics and deliver measurable operational improvements.
Peterson Energies is continuing to develop relationships with energy operators and developers across its core markets, while strengthening its network of supply chain partners. Its approach brings local delivery teams together with global expertise, allowing the company to work as an extension of its customers’ operations and deliver safely and reliably across different regions.
Looking ahead, Peterson Energies sees opportunities across the entire life of field, from supporting ongoing production and project delivery to developing pooled infrastructure models. Continued investment in facilities, capabilities and technology will support a range of customer requirements, with the company’s strategic hubs positioned to serve scopes spanning oil and gas asset decommissioning through to renewable energy operations and maintenance.
Over the next 12 to 18 months, the company expects growth to come from both maximising economic recovery within the North Sea oil and gas basin and further developing its established renewables footprint. An integrated approach will remain central to this growth, with services including vessel agency, customs clearance, cargo coordination, crew changes, quayside operations and logistics helping customers reduce complexity and achieve faster, safer and more efficient operations.
