JMSL Launches Integrated Service Model to Strengthen Project Delivery Capability

Updated structure strengthens capability across manpower, fabrication, and project services

JMSL has completed a strategic realignment of its services, introducing defined delivery models across manpower, fabrication, and project services to support integrated project execution.

The updated structure forms part of JMSL’s three-year growth strategy and refreshed business plan, alongside the launch of a new website designed to support this integrated service approach, in line with evolving client requirements and continued focus on integrated, delivery-led services across UK and international projects.

The realignment defines three core service lines: workforce solutions, fabrication (workshop and site), and project services. This structure enables access to standalone services or integrated delivery aligned to project scope and schedule.

Over the past year, JMSL has assessed market trends across infrastructure, defence, marine, and offshore energy sectors, identifying increasing pressure on contractor capacity, skilled personnel, and project execution. The updated service model is designed to help bridge these gaps by combining workforce, fabrication, and site delivery through a coordinated approach.

“Our markets are changing, and clients are increasingly looking for partners who can provide more than just labour or isolated services,” said Campbell Jamieson, Managing Director at JMSL. “Through this realignment, we’ve clarified how we deliver manpower, fabrication, and project services independently and in combination, enabling more effective support from planning through to execution.”

“This work has been underpinned by our updated business plan and long-term growth strategy. We’ve looked closely at where the industry faces recurring challenges — whether that’s access to skilled personnel, fabrication capacity, or specialist site execution — and structured our services to address those needs in a more integrated and practical way.”

The refreshed service framework introduces defined delivery models across each service line, including managed workforce solutions, workshop and site fabrication, and project services such as project management, specialist site welding, inspection, repair and maintenance, and marine mobilisation support. These offerings are designed to operate as standalone services or combined delivery packages depending on project needs.

JMSL’s approach also emphasises alternative workforce sourcing and deployment strategies, reducing reliance on traditional recruitment routes that constrain availability and scalability. By integrating workforce, fabrication, and execution capability, the company aims to provide greater flexibility, continuity, and delivery assurance.

“This realignment is about making it clearer and easier for clients to engage with JMSL across the full range of support we provide,” Jamieson added. “It reflects how we already operate on projects and positions us to grow in a controlled way over the coming years, particularly across fabrication and project services alongside our established manpower capability.”

The updated service structure is now implemented across JMSL’s operations, marketing, and business development, supported by the launch of an updated website that reflects the new service framework and provides a clearer, more accessible overview of JMSL’s integrated delivery capabilities and how clients can engage across the full project lifecycle
