TEC, Ireland’s leading supplier of industrial and hydraulic hose assemblies, fittings and adaptors, has moved its hose inspection and compliance process onto CheckedOK, the inspection software from CoreRFID. Since going live in August 2025, engineers hav cut administration and reporting time by up to two hours a day, while customers now get instant access to inspection histories and compliance records in the field. TEC’s previous system had not kept pace with the growth of its hose inspection and compliance work. It lacked support for RFID and QR integration, and TEC wanted a platform that could handle more detailed customer reporting alongside daily inspections. Rather than migrate years of records across, TEC left the old system behind entirely and rebuilt its asset register from scratch in CheckedOK.
TEC now has around 3,000 hose assemblies logged in the platform, managed day to day by five engineers. Working alongside technology partner CoreRFID, TEC implemented an RFID and QR-enabled asset management system, giving both engineers and customers instant access to inspection histories and compliance records.

The move forms part of a wider strategy at TEC to build a digital asset management proposition that combines hose inspection, compliance reporting, RFID identification and lifecycle asset management, giving the business a platform designed to scale alongside its customers in highly regulated and safety-critical industries such as pharmaceutical manufacturing and data centre operations.
