The team at Integrity QHSE has produced the next generation of digital carbon tracking tools; a GHG Protocol carbon calculator designed to turn an organisation’s activity data (energy bills, fuel, travel, waste, refrigerant top-ups) into a simple, auditable footprint.
The tool was developed by their Environmental Manager Karen Simpson, who previously worked for the Scottish Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA), and Sophie Ness, who was a Senior Environmental Advisor for Siemens Energy prior to joining Integrity QHSE.
The Carbon Tracker includes (not exhaustive):
- Scopes 1, 2 and 3, organised by the GHG Protocol categories, from stationary combustion and fugitive emissions to business travel and even commuting.
- Up-to-date emission factors from the UK (DESNZ) and US EPA datasets, by year, with new datasets imported directly from the published workbooks.
- Multi-site, multi-region: each site uses its own country’s factors, and mobile sites such as vessels can change region and country month by month.
- Location and market Scope 2, with automatic well-to-tank and T&D losses.
- Interactive dashboard: monthly trends, breakdowns by scope and category, and performance against your reduction targets, globally and site by site.
- Board-ready reports: a GHG report and carbon reduction plan with year-on-year comparison, baseline tracking, intensity metrics, methodology and sign-off.
- Reduction measures tracked from planned to complete, with savings achieved.
- Built for scrutiny: an audit trail of every change, locked reporting years, role-based access by region/ site, and clear handling of out-of-scope gases like R-22
Whether you’re reporting under SECR, responding to customer/ tender questionnaires, or building a credible net zero plan, Carbon Tracker gives you numbers you can stand behind with confidence.
