KW have an exciting new order from a new customer, the UK’s National Metrology Institute, who provide the measurement expertise that underpins economic growth and quality of life.

Due to KW’s extensive experience and knowledge in designing high pressure and temperature hyperbaric pressure testing systems usually associated with subsea engineering, KW has been chosen with supplying a permeation test system to accurately quantify specific gas permeation rates through polymers and polymer composites.

KW has previously been commissioned by one of the world’s leading universities, chemical engineering department in London to create a test platform to be able to test a polymers resistance to passing gas through it whilst under high-pressure (1380 Bar) and high-temperature (250°C) test conditions which was housed in an environmental chamber.

KW proudly work regularly alongside world-leading universities and research institutions producing a diverse range of test platforms and equipment with the highest level of accuracy, for both small and large scale projects.
