Major operators are adopting TubeLock® across multiple regions, including a long-term deployment in Guyana, a multi-year contract award in Qatar, several new UK contracts and a two-year agreement with a major operator in the Netherlands.
The company has also achieved a number of important innovation milestones. In Australia, TubeLock® Maximus was deployed under its first commercial contract, alongside Global Gravity’s first drill pipe handling contract with the same operator. In Norway, the company successfully implemented its new digital tubular tracking solution, which has been accepted by major operators and provides real-time visibility, traceability and control across the tubular supply chain. Following its positive reception, plans are now underway for wider international deployment.
Global Gravity supports customers’ sustainability objectives through the design and application of TubeLock®. Manufactured from durable aluminium with an expected service life exceeding 15 years, TubeLock® is designed for long-term reuse, reducing waste and supporting customers’ sustainability objectives. Its stackable format allows more tubulars to be transported in less vessel space, helping reduce vessel trips and improve logistics efficiency. Fewer crane lifts and less manual handling also contribute to lower energy consumption, improved safety performance and more streamlined offshore operations.
Offshore, TubeLock® reduces deck space requirements by allowing tubulars to be run directly from the system without the need for additional laydown areas. This helps operators maximise available space, reduce handling time and lower overall project costs.
Global Gravity is focused on building long-term partnerships with operators, drilling contractors, OCTG and drill pipe manufacturers, and supply chain partners worldwide. Its commercial team is actively pursuing opportunities where TubeLock® and TubeLock® Maximus can reduce HSEQ exposure, improve operational efficiency, lower logistics costs and support emissions reduction targets.
Over the next 12 to 18 months, Global Gravity sees significant growth opportunities in Norway, Brazil, the Middle East and Asia Pacific, where operators continue to prioritise safety, efficiency and sustainability. The company is also seeing increasing interest across Africa, where new developments present strong opportunities for innovative tubular handling solutions and the wider adoption of its digital tracking platform.
