ExxonMobil, Qatar Petroleum begin drilling in Cyprus’ block 10
ExxonMobil and partner Qatar Petroleum on Tuesday began drilling in Cyprus’ offshore block 10, the country’s Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry has announced.
According to reports, the consortium will drill an appraisal well in the Glafcos gas find inside block 10 which is estimated to carry a reservoir between 5 and 8 trillion cubic feet.
Results are expected in the first quarter of 2022.
