A leading independent occupational health provider will host a gathering to discuss new offshore weight restrictions next month.
Aberdeenshire-based Granite Occupational Health (GOH) will host an event on November 19th to explore the health, wellbeing and employment law implications of the new 124kg maximum clothed weight restrictions for offshore travel, which came into force on November 1st.
Speakers at the 8am-11am event at Duncano’s, Westhill will include OEUK Medical Advisor Mark Cheesman, GOH counsellor Emma Galashan and occupational health doctor Tom Rowland plus Blackadders’ employment lawyer Gilllian Donald and senior chartered physiotherapist Fiona Hogg from Robust Physiotherapy. In addition to presentations, there will also be a live Q&A giving attendees the chance to put questions directly to the panel, plus the opportunity to network with fellow participants.
