Eni Makes New Oil Discovery in Egypt’s South West Meleiha Concession
Eni SpA said Tuesday that it discovered new oil resources in the South West Meleiha concession in Egypt.
The Italian oil-and-gas major said the SWM-A-6X well has been successfully drilled and is connected to the production network. The well is currently on stream with a daily production of 5,000 barrels of oil per day.
The South West Meleiha development and exploration concession is located in the Egypt’s Western Desert, according to Eni.
