Integrity HSE’s Emergency Response Lead, Simon Marwick, will host an event on 25 March at The Seven Incorporated Trades in Aberdeen which will bring together all those responsible for emergency and crisis management from a range of industries (tickets still available).
While most organisations maintain an emergency response plan, Simon knows that real situations are often uncertain, fast-moving and rarely follow a checklist. That is why his session will take the form of an emergency response wargame that he has designed to test response when incidents move beyond the comfort of written procedures.
The event is aimed at operations, HR, and HSE professionals, as well as crisis managers and incident commanders. Participants will watch (and take part if they feel comfortable) a confidential, scenario-based exercise which will be followed by a debrief examining errors from real incidents and the consequences when they combine under pressure.
Simon brings extensive operational experience from senior emergency response and command roles within Restrata, alongside earlier service in the British Army. He will be supported by Robert Diver and the wider Integrity HSE team throughout the event which will offer a valuable opportunity to test thinking, challenge assumption and strengthen preparedness.
To register for this event (number are limited) go to Integrity HSE’s LinkedIn page and follow the Eventbrite instructions, alternatively email enquiries@integrityhse.co.uk or call 01224 679950.
