Elementz: Redefining the Future of Subsea Asset Integrity Management

We are proud to have Elementz as members of Global Energy Network. In this edition of our ‘Member Spotlight’ series, we’re highlighting how the industrial software company continually reinforces their mission to protect the world’s subsea infrastructure through smarter, data-driven integrity management solutions.

Operating globally across Europe, North America, West Africa, Southeast Asia, and Australia, Elementz supports 23 customers managing thousands of subsea assets, pipelines, and inspection programmes. By bringing greater consistency and visibility to subsea operations, they help organisations manage critical infrastructure at scale.

A core challenge across the subsea sector is the fragmentation of data and workflows.

Integrity and inspection management are often spread across spreadsheets, legacy databases, and disconnected tools, creating inefficiencies, duplication, and heightened operational risk. Elementz addresses this by bringing all data into one platform that integrates seamlessly with existing workflows, providing real-time portfolio visibility and creating an AI-ready data foundation. The results are tangible, with customers reporting around 30% less effort, 25% increased capacity, and more than 40% reduction in integrity management costs.

This year, Elementz has launched Tide Breaker, the subsea industry’s first AI accelerator focused on practical deployment rather than pilot projects. Through its Customer Advisory Board, Compass, seven global operators are collaborating with technology providers to co-create AI tools using operational data within a secure Trusted Research Environment.

This initiative is helping close the long-standing gap between promising AI concepts and trusted, operational solutions that can be deployed in live environments.

As the energy transition accelerates, Elementz is evolving from a traditional oil and gas solution into a broader, horizontal platform that serves the wider subsea ecosystem. This includes offshore wind, subsea power cables, and global telecoms infrastructure. By enabling condition-based inspection strategies instead of fixed schedules, the Integrity Elementz software helps reduce unnecessary vessel deployments, supports remote operations, and integrates with autonomous technologies, driving lower emissions, reduced operating costs, and more efficient asset management across both traditional and emerging energy sectors.

The company is actively seeking to collaborate with Tier 1 operators across both conventional and renewable energy, as well as AI developers, IRM service providers, and engineering consultancies looking to embed smarter, data-led integrity management into their workflows. Through co-creation models such as Compass Advisory Board, Elementz is also enabling operators to co-invest in shared AI capabilities, reshaping how innovation is developed and scaled across the industry.

Looking ahead, Elementz sees strong growth opportunities across several key areas. These include deepwater oil and gas regions in South America, Asia-Pacific, and West Africa, where both new developments and ageing infrastructure require robust integrity solutions. At the same time, the rapid expansion of offshore wind and the growing importance of subsea cable networks are opening new markets for the platform. Alongside this, Tide Breaker is emerging as a key catalyst in accelerating the adoption of AI across subsea operations, moving the industry beyond proof of concept and into scalable, real-world deployment.
