Deltic Energy’s Acquisition by RockRose Energy Faces Regulatory Delay

Deltic Energy PLC has announced an update regarding its acquisition by RockRose Energy Limited, a subsidiary of Viaro Energy Limited.

The acquisition, which involves a recommended cash offer for Deltic’s entire share capital, is pending approval from the North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA) for a change in control of Deltic’s licenses.

Although the assessment by the NSTA is taking longer than expected, both companies remain optimistic about completing the acquisition in the fourth quarter of 2025, which could significantly impact Deltic’s operations and market positioning.
