Bhagwan Marine Wins Strategic Barrow Island Contract to Bolster Decommissioning Strategy

Decommissioning

Bhagwan Marine Ltd. has provided an update.

Bhagwan Marine Limited has secured a strategic contract from a major oil and gas client to remove oil tanker moorings and navigation buoys at Barrow Island in Western Australia. The work provides a critical entry point into a wider offshore decommissioning program targeting legacy infrastructure in the region and allows the company to demonstrate its capabilities in nearshore and shallow-water environments.

The company is developing a removal methodology that could be replicated across similar nearshore and shallow-water decommissioning projects, where many offshore operators face comparable legacy asset profiles. This award, alongside Bhagwan’s growing decommissioning track record on projects such as Northern Endeavour, Harriet Alpha and Angel platforms, supports its strategy to make decommissioning an increasingly important pillar of its business and strengthens its positioning in Australia’s emerging decommissioning market.
