Arabian Drilling wins four-jackup offshore contract from KJO

Arabian Drilling signed a four-year contract with Khafji Joint Operations (KJO) on 28 September 2026 to provide four jackup rigs for offshore drilling. The award is worth approximately SAR 2 billion and is the largest single offshore drilling contract KJO has given the company.

The rigs will support KJO’s offshore drilling operations and raise the number of Arabian Drilling rigs serving KJO by 200%. The financial impact is expected to begin at the end of the fourth quarter of 2026.

KJO is a joint venture between Aramco Gulf Operations Company and Kuwait Gulf Oil Company that operates in the Divided Zone between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. The award follows a three-year offshore contract extension Arabian Drilling signed with KJO in July 2025.
