ADC Continues to Support Offshore Ghana

ADC has been active in Ghana for over a decade and are set to return to the country to support both National and International Operator clients. The first project is a continuation of an existing contract that has seen ADC support the Operator with a technical comparison of a shortlist of potential drilling units, risk assessed and ranked based on the technical capability to meet the project demands of the operating environment. Once the rig has been selected, ADC will conduct a comprehensive condition and acceptance audit to provide operational assurance and minimise the risk to performance.

ADC’s second project offshore Ghana for 2026 is supporting a new client with the intake of a 6th generation drillship which is currently undergoing reactivation outside of the region before commencing a short contract prior to the rig’s mobilisation offshore Ghana. ADC is working closely with the client’s technical project management team to identify any risk, including a Well-Specific Operating Guidelines (WSOG) assessment against the unique environmental, operational, and equipment requirements offshore Ghana to ensure the rig maintains its position safely.
