3t Hosts Scotland’s Energy Minister at Aberdeen Training Centre

3t, a leading specialist training provider for the energy sector, hosted Stephen Gethins MSP, Minister for Europe, External Affairs and Energy, at its training facility in Aberdeen, Scotland for an industry roundtable discussion.

The visit brought together representatives from across the UK energy industry to discuss key challenges and opportunities for the sector. During the conversation, the industry figures discussed the future of the North Sea, the need for a skilled and adaptable all-energy workforce, and the critical role that training and skills development will play in supporting the energy transition.

“Engagement with industry is essential as we work together, navigating the opportunities and challenges ahead.

“Discussions like these ensure that industry and government collaborate on developing the skills and expertise needed to support Scotland’s energy future.”

Representatives from leading organisations across the energy sector including Adura, Serica Energy, Peterson, and others, took part in the roundtable discussions. The talks provided an opportunity to further explore how stronger multi-level partnerships can help address shared challenges and strengthening the UK’s long-term economic resilience.
