ROK Resources adds two late-2026 wells to Saskatchewan program

ROK Resources added two wells to its 2026 drilling program in core Southeast Saskatchewan, bringing the full-year total to 12 gross (10.9 net) wells.

The company has drilled 10 gross (8.9 net) wells so far this year, and 9 gross (7.9 net) are on production. Adverse weather delayed drilling and completion, pushing new wells onstream later than anticipated. Over the most recent 30 days, wells from the 2026 program added about 675 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed), 88% of it oil and natural gas liquids.

The two additional wells are expected to be high-impact and are planned for late 2026. Timing depends on rig and oilfield services availability, but ROK expects to bring both on production before year-end. The company said early results from the program point to more drilling opportunities for 2027.
