Tekmar Group has secured two contracts worth £2m for an offshore wind farm project in Japan.
The company said the main contract covers supply of its 10th generation Cable Protection Technology directly to the wind farm developer, with work starting immediately.
Tekmar added revenue is expected to be recognised across the remainder of FY26 and into the first half of FY27 following earlier technical analysis and design work on the project.
The award reflects the company’s relationship with the customer and its integrated in-house engineering capabilities.
It also builds on Tekmar’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region and supports its growth ambitions under Project Aurora.
“This award highlights the value of our integrated engineering and technology offering, and our ability to partner with customers throughout the full project lifecycle,” said Richard Turner, chief executive officer at Tekmar Group plc.
“It further demonstrates our ongoing success in building a sustainable and diversified order book with multi-year visibility.”
