A unique emergency response seminar was delivered last week by Integrity QHSE’s Emergency Response Lead Simon Marwick. The event brought together an impressive host of professionals from companies from the likes of critical national infrastructure, multinational organisations, high-hazard and local authority-owned entities.
Held under Chatham House Rules, the wargaming session encouraged open discussion and honest reflection, allowing a full exploration of the real-world challenges that the delegates would potentially face in an emergency, allowing Simon to give them a greater understanding of their own operational resilience in the face of unplanned events.
Following the event, many of the attendees asked to Simon to conduct a GAP analysis between their organisation’s current arrangements, and industry best practise. Simon is well versed in this, having been involved in more than 2100 real or simulated emergency responses incidents over the last 10 years of his career as an emergency response expert.
